We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 and will never give away your personal information to a third party. Any information we collect from you is only ever used in an aggregate form for analysis purposes, to select panelists for survey invitations and to send you newsletters related to the research from time to time. We sometimes invite you to complete surveys from external organisations. In such surveys you will never be asked for information that can be used to identify you personally. Sometimes these organisations may ask for your permission to re-contact you for follow-up research, in which case they will not be able to do so without your explicit permission. To receive full incentives you need to qualify for and complete the full survey. Upon completion you should be shown a message thanking you for your participation and then be credited with the incentive specified in the invite email.
This is automatically credited after you have completed a survey. Occasionally, incentives will have to be credited manually. You will be notified when this is the case so you know when to expect them in your account.

First, please remember that the password recognition is case sensitive, so you must use capitals and small letters in the right places. Also, please remember to use the right email address (i.e. the one you signed up with) if you have more than one. When you have logged in the first time, you have the opportunity to change your password to something that is easy to remember.

Terms and Conditions, due to the rules and regulations surrounding the ways in which market research should be conducted, we are not able to offer our service to people under the age of 16.
Login in to your member page and click the ´unregister´ link. Please note that by leaving the Panel, you will lose any incentive earned after you last redeemed. All your information will then be removed from our database, this may take a few business days.
Surveys
The more profile information you provide when you register, the more likely you are to receive survey invites. On registering we also ask how many surveys you would like to participate in. We aim to match the number of surveys with your interest in completing surveys.
The most probable reason for this is that you belong to a target-group not currently requested in the system. You can greatly increase the chance of receiving surveys by always ensuring that your profile details are complete and up to date. Updating your personal information is accomplished on your member page.
Survey closed means that one of the following has occurred:
- The survey field period has expired, normally surveys are active for 2-7 days.
- The desired number of answers has been collected for this survey.
- Some surveys automatically close due to inactivity, typically after 10-15 minutes.
Quota full means that all answers from your specific target-group have been collected.
Not at all. We don't like to over burden people with surveys, and aim to invite members to participate in relevant surveys, based on the registration information we collect. If you haven´t participated in a survey for a while, you may receive an email checking that you wish to remain in the Panel, or requesting that you update your profile.
Surveys will cover a number of different topics, either specifically related to GMTV or associated advertisers and other organisations. Surveys will generally be about your television viewing habits lifestyle and the purchasing decisions you make
You are eligible from the very moment you sign-up to receive surveys. Therefore you could receive an invitation right away. Generally speaking however, you should receive your first survey within two or three weeks. It really depends on your profile information (whether you are male or female, your location, type of work you do etc.) and the current needs of the organisations.
Rewards
This depends on the length of interview. Most rewards vary from £0.50 up to £10. The cash reward for the survey is clearly stated before you participate. Most of the time your GMTV ViewBack Panel account will be credited money / retailer spending points that can be redeemed through PayPal or Click and Buy respectively. Sometimes you will be entered into a prize draw upon completing a survey.
Yes, if you qualify for and fully complete a survey. Sometimes not everyone fits the profile that the organisation hosting the survey desires. Most often, you are not paid for answering the screening questions (e.g. what brand of mobile phone do you own?). However, we seek to provide you with enough survey taking opportunities and you can contact us at any point with your feedback.
Rewards for completed surveys are paid in cash via PayPal or online retailer spending points through Click and Buy. You can draw down your rewards when you have a minimum of £4 in your account, or alternatively save your rewards until you are ready to redeem them.

Yes, this is how the rewards you earn are redeemed. With a PayPal account you can have the money end up in your bank account. Or you can choose to redeem your rewards into a Click and Buy account and use the retailer spending points to shop in one of 14,000 online retailers without ever giving your banking details. No. We use Pay Pal and Click and Buy because they are efficient systems, widely used and respected. It allows us to keep administration costs lower, and to pay our panelists quickly and easily.
